U dobi od dvije godine ostaje bez oca i uskoro se s majkom seli u Vi\u0161egrad kod o\u010deve sestre Ane i njenog mu\u017ea Ivana Matkov\u0161ika, grani\u010dnog policajca. Nakon zavr\u0161ene osnovne \u0161kole upisuje sarajevsku Veliku gimnaziju, najstariju bosanskohercegova\u010dku srednju \u0161kolu. Dobiv\u0161i stipendiju hrvatskog kulturno-prosvjetnog dru\u0161tva \u201eNapredak\u201c, Andri\u0107 1912. godine zapo\u010dinje studije na Mudroslovnom fakultetu Kraljevskog sveu\u010dili\u0161ta u Zagrebu. Kasnije studira u Be\u010du i Krakovu. Andri\u0107 se kao sarajevski gimnazijalac kretao u dru\u0161tvu omladinaca iz buntovni\u010dke udru\u017ebe Mlade Bosne, a kao zagreba\u010dki student upoznao je Mato\u0161a, i premda se nije svrstao u krug mato\u0161evaca, Mato\u0161evu smrt komemorirao je [&hellip;]"}
